Meet Dr. Melissa Skoff, DNP, APRN, FNP‑BC, AGACNP‑BC

I’m a doctoral‑prepared, dual‑certified nurse practitioner with extensive experience in clinical practice, advanced nursing education, and regulatory compliance. My work blends academic rigor with a deeply supportive approach—because nurses deserve both structure and compassion during challenging professional moments.

Over the years, I’ve helped countless nurses strengthen their clinical reasoning, improve documentation skills, and rebuild confidence after corrective action. I understand the emotional weight of these situations, and my goal is to provide clarity, guidance, and evidence‑based education that empowers you to move forward.

My Approach

Professional — grounded in advanced clinical and academic experience

Evidence‑Based — aligns with Board standards, ethics, and scope of practice

Supportive — judgment‑free, structured guidance to help you succeed

Efficient — organized processes and reasonable turnaround times

Focused on Growth — strengthening insight, critical thinking, and safe practice

Why I Started This Work

Corrective action can be overwhelming. Many nurses feel lost, anxious, or unsure where to begin. I saw a need for a service that combines:

  • Clinical expertise

  • Regulatory knowledge

  • Educational design

  • Compassionate support

I started this consulting practice so nurses could access high‑quality, evidence‑based learning and emerge with renewed clarity and competence—not shame or confusion.

Beyond Corrective Action

In addition to educational consultations, I’m developing future offerings including:

  • Courses and workshops

  • Books and learning resources

  • Career clarity and professional development coaching for nurses

These will be added to the website once ready.
